Hello members I'm a newbie. I applied for the google adsense account a while ago but they disapproved it on the following grounds:

- Site does not comply with Google policies

---------------------

Further detail:

Site does not comply with Google policies: We're unable to approve your
AdSense application at this time because we feel that your site does not
comply with Google AdSense policies or webmaster quality guidelines. It's
our goal to provide our advertisers sites that offer rich and meaningful
content, receive organic traffic, and allow us to serve well-targeted ads
to users. We believe that currently your site does not fulfill this
criteria.

Is it possible you could help me out a bit and show me what I have to fix or improve on my blog (please view my contact info).

With friendly greetings,
orangelight

    is your site seo friendly?
for the adsense approval, you need the seo friendly website and then some link building so your web site got some back link and then you start your campaign.

    the message also display that..

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I do believe it SEO friendly. I installed the "All in one SEO pack" right from the beginning. On every post I fill in my title, description and keyword tags. Currently my blog is getting more and more inbound links. Do you suggest I should have more outbound links too?

I find the most common reason for being denied isn't havaing a "Terms of Use" specifying the Google dart cookie (or whatever it's called).

Make sure your site is professional with "About Us", "Contact Us", "Terms of Use", "Privacy Policy".

Professionalism goes a far way. (With google especially)

I think your blog is legitimate and it should not have been denied by adsense. But one thing which makes it look a little spammy is probably one WP plugin you have which bolds every occurence of some keywords on all your pages.
Other than that, your blog looks fine, original content and legitimate topic related to your activity.
Be aware that the people working at adsense, pressing the buttons of approval/denials/ban are not the brightest in any way!

Hi, thanks for your reply. No, I didn't put these keywords in bold by a wp plugin. Believe it or not, it did it by hand (word editor). These words are my keyword tags and I believe its legit to make it easier for google to pick them up is to bold them. But if you think it looks spammy, should it be better to remove them or is there an other way?

It shows you didn't even bother to look at his website because you would of seen he had those pages.

At first glance have to say the site doesn't raise any issues that I see but knowing Adsense I would go with one of 2 things.

      1. Copywrite issue, some of those images could be questionable. I don't know but I do know Adsense can be picky with this.

      2. That slider that pops up, are you allowed to have that with adsense? might want to check that out. I personally hated it

If those 2 aren't it then I will go with lack of content.. seems general I know but the over all site seemed a bit thin.

Thanks nelapsi for your reply Yes, you're probably right. I already scanned some of my posts with copyscape and yes there some copyrighted sentences. So I'm working on that right now to either remove or rewrite those. OK, I'll get rid of my "simple reach slide" if you think it makes google upset.

Hi Nelapsi, about the images. Most of these I got from "stock.xchng", "morgue file" and "wikimedia commons". I believe these are free to use as long as we don't alter them. May be 3 pix could be of unauthorized use (from google images). Should I state on every post where my images come from?
        Thanks for your last post.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, I have both of these. My privacy policy at the bottom of my side bar and my contact page on the top right of my tab menu. May be I should add more to my contact page. Yes, if you could be so friendly to have a look at my blog, I would appreciate it very much. At least I'll know what the sticking points are. Thanks

Yes, take the opinions of others first, don't rely on mine, but don't think about google, think about your users.. Where do we see such things as one word being bolded at every occurences? Nowhere serious.. So if you want to emphasize some words, ok, but do it once per occurence..
You know those bold words and things like that I know about it because it was ever since the first SEO tips, but since then there has been so many it is ridiculous, and nothing will beat having a good and long text instead of any such "tricks" for search engines which nobody knows if they still work or ever did.
Most of the tips everywhere are just us on forum parroting what we read elsewhere, but how many comes from scientific studies with proper A/B testing? I'd bet about 0.00001%
On the other hand, if you focus on the text, talking to your typical visitor like a friend, talk and talk, provide all the value you can. Then if search engines do their job correctly, they'll send you the visitors interested. And if they don't do their job correctly, the real people will bring in traffic by sharing your pages by themselves on social networks if they see that it brings value to their friends/contacts.

Now a day’s Google is not approving new publishers to apply for new Adsense account easily. So i would say try again after some time with new website then you may approve by them..
