Ranking a forwarding domain?

Hello,

quick question: Is it possible to rank for a zero competition keyword (my domain name) with a forwarding domain? The domain leads to a CPA offer, and the keyword I want to rank for has no competition. I have cloaked the domain and added a Meta title, description and keywords (all including the keyword). Has anyone experience with it?

If you are talking about redirecting a domain, your success will depend on exactly how you set up your redirect. For example search engines handle 302 redirects differently where as they handle 301 redirects the same. If you do a 301 redirect, your tactic should work fine.
