Few Questions About ScrapeBox (Resources)

So I'm looking into buying Scrapebox. However, at the moment I am living with a host family in Germany. From what I gather, Scrapebox can be a bit of a burden on bandwidth, no? With moderate use, would it be enough to affect the internet connectivity within a household?

Also, I understand that Scrapebox works best when using private proxies (which of course, require an extra cost). Are there any other aspects of Scrapebox that may require extra payments of one sort or another?

Thanks!

You can control how much bandwidth is uses by the number of threads running.

For example if others are using the connection you would only want to run it on 5 threads (depending on your connection) but if no one was using it you could throttle it up to 100 threads.

I would certainly recommend using private proxies for scraping

Have you considered outsourcing this to someone on Fiverr or elsewhere that already has Scrapebox, proxies and the time to do it?

You could put it on a VPS. Problem solved.

VPS, if you can swing the slight cost. Check out http://www.bermanhosting.com if you're looking for a solid VPS at a really, really good price. SB will run fine on 512mb as long as you're not going overboard. I can actually run 2 instances without any issues.

It is best to use private proxies to avoid any trouble. I bought proxies from Fiverr and they gave me much higher comment posting success rate than proxies scraped from public source. (I bought semi dedicated, shared proxies)

Other costs you might incur are captcha solver, but the cost is pretty low. I been playing with scrapebox for several weeks but I haven't use too much of the captcha credits.

You should check out Matt Woodword's website, it is through his videos I learned and decided to purchase scrapebox. Lots of good material on his site.

    Best Regards

yes it does work best with the use of private proxies but for me have never bought such private proxies i really made use of the public proxies in scrapbox and they are working well for me. you do not have to spend extra monies buying proxies if you are on budget.

for effective use of public proxies in scrapebox these are the steps i make use of
    1. scrap as much proxies as you can (google proxies)
    2. use them for scraping and for posting just for 6 hours then discard because it s already burn out
    3. re scrap new proxies again for posting

The problem with this is that half of your time spent with SB will be spent testing proxies. And even the ones that pass are still a LOT less reliable than dedicated or semi-dedicated proxies.

you can't just run scrapebox out of the box, you can get public proxies but that would take you forever really, you can join monthly sites that'll email you fresh lists, but they of course eventually die. if you don't want to be bothered you could just get an autoscraper i won't mention the names but they're out there.

of course public proxies will be slower, eventually if you're gonna be doing any type of backlinking, and automated backlink, you're gonna have to need private proxies, so you might as well just pony up and buy some

you can use private proxies for scraping, you can use looplines soft estimate of 1 to 5 ratio of threads to proxies, and you can use these same private proxies to post. so you get your bare min 10 private proxies, you can use 2 threads to scrape and then use the same proxies to post.

scrapebox uses a bit of bandwidth, if there is a "limit" on how much traffic you can use a month, then that'll be bad, that's the main issue, the second is of course how it affects your network and if it'll affect the ppl in your household, probably.

I'd absolutely suggest putting it on a VPS if you're going to be a heavy user. (About $10-$15 a month for a cheap VPS.)
