Google Dance or something else dont know what to where to assign this effect.

My each individual keyword is showing the graphs so unpredictable and confusing!

Google dance are Google slap most likely. Just hope for the dance because the slap is not good.

sometime i think is better to buy a well estabilished website with a old domain that has been there for years....that makes its steady monthly money from adsense, instead to lunch websites and getting all the pain in the a** to make them earn cents little by little .

The problem is, that very strange search results. Like
- 2 videos
- 1 yahoo answer
- one authority site
-then random site

By the way, our sites are getting back now.

any ways, wait for few days. If your site is not get back, then buy an aged domain name, and use 301 redirect.

Content rich sites are working..

In short... site with

- 15 category
- 5 post in each categoy
- one video
- 3 to 5 images
and working every well.
after google updates on 8 oct.. it seems.. pre penguin days are back, specially with onpage seo...
- 4% kw density
- inner anchor text are working

my some sites, which were hit on 24th april are back on 10th octuber. can't be co-incidence.

still we are testing, let G dance is over, we should have clear picture

Google dance is still here. Its been up and down for me this month. There are times I'm bringing $60 a day from adsense and there are days its only $25++. This is due to google dance . I just hope once the system knows where to place the site I just hope its in my favor. I just need that one big keyword to retain then I'm good.

My site as well, around the beginning of Oct, all keywords ( 15 keywords) on first page of google top 10 disappeared. I dont know what happen. Until know some keyword come back at the sencod page of top 20.

I'm very sad, because all the business seem to go aways, no request, no quotation. Oh Google killed me.

try other methods to promote your site or go for google adwords.

i notice that there are fluctuations with the new sites...one day is going to page 150 then jumps back to 30 it goes like in waves ...and the backlinks im creating are all excellent quality only PR2...my sites are a month old...only one site is 2 years old and he is always there in steady position doesnt move a inch

i got an advertising the other day about something called air traffic but is expesive is around 99 dollars a month for a USA only website they guarantee 10000 visits a month ..but then may be my site make 10 dollars a month with adsense

there are days im so discouraged i work 7-8-9 hours a day and then the day after i see 0,15 cents ...then you get more visits more people adsense goes better and then poufffff you go back in the abyss ,,,may be this is the price to pay for a new website,just take it easy and wait ...of course working at the website...

it seems we are all agree that there is a sorta of dance specially for the websites thta are new,i would call them fluctuations...instability,its like they want to see where are you going...first they reward you then they think..mmmmmm let see whats the owner's next move...the new websites are very very much penalized by this behaviour

i have a Serp checker that is pretty accurate Whats My SERP i have several new websites,,this morning one was on 9 place...2 hours later 4 then 2 hours later 9 again bungie jumps

..another one 16 place 2 days ago ..now 45 ...Im trying to understand if also the niche the website is in may affect this fluctuations. The one that is going good now is one about coupons discounts .the other that was doing good was a paid surveys website ..so its social and is about work..from 22 place to 230..in 2 days...

Hello I have a eCommerce site that was top 10-20 for many keywords. (all pretty new items so they are not competitive) so far they have been very stable and then all of the sudden boom (today 10/20) I am getting -10 to -20 even -30 for several keywords. I added a couple product pages a few days ago but nothing much else. I have been active since July 4th.

I monitor many keywords and I am way down, so much I think I wanna puke or something.

I think I am getting slapped or this is my first serious dance lesson.

If your dancing let us know. I think I am going to wait this out.

someone asked a question on here about why sites jumps a lot but there isnt a knowledgeable answer as of yet?

I have the same issue with site falling to page 11 for page 1 then page 6 - 11-5-12-4-15-4-15 on a daily basis and normally to the same page it was they day before - i have changed site with webmaster recommendation and that seemed to make it worse and the domain is 6 years old so not a new site atall.

I did a test on a site i never use with 10000s of so called crap bought links from random sites /blogs etc and this seemingly has pushed the site up so all the things Google ask you not to do has so far worked on this site and things they ask you to do damaged my main site ???

So does anyone know why a site jumps massively on pages even after it been lightly amended to Google requirements ?

It may be because you have links that keep getting rotated to the home page of a blog. There are a few Wordpress plugins that randomly place posts on the home page.

Ive spoken to quite a few people about the back-links and read on forums - some say remove them some say its to generate good links that soon outweigh the bad links and shows google you are doing good practice as its almost impossible to remove all bad-links unless you have placed them all and have access to 500 to 50000 links .

the site im talking about has good links as well as some bad but good outweigh the bad , i took advice to take out keywords and anchor texts that seems to have made it worse - ive been told to remove sitemaps as it does more harm than good . Ive been told to start afresh which in condiering doing but its a shame for a site that is 6 yrs old .

I reality no one knows if Google doesn't like you it doesn't like you - i was even told that small business are going to get hell from Google and forced to use ad words as i now notice a lot of the small guys like me are dropping like flies for rankings and big companies are taking over page one for no apparent reason .
