Choosing a domain name for multiple keywords

If I were looking to get a site ranked for the terms 'lucky beaver', 'lucky blue beaver', and 'blue beaver' would having the domain name 'luckybluebeaver.com' help me rank for all of the domains or just the 'lucky blue beaver' term and hurt me on the other two?

    Umm I am not sure if there is any info here on warrior about it or not..

    Basically you get a brandable domain name. (anything easy to remember will work like lets for example use squiggles.com).

    An emu page would be like this then.

    squiggles.com/lucky-beaver/
    squiggles.com/lucky-blue-beaver/
    squiggles.com/blue-beaver/

      Gotcha. Thank you so much! So you have done this to make a website rank higher rather than simply buying an exact match domain or something similar? I'm sure you do, but I have to ask before I implement it for my next SEO campaign idea. Thanks

    Yes I have one client ranking in around 20 terms as in the top 5 using this technique.

    Although I also have lots of old EMD sites that are #1 so its really a give an take. But Google is penalizing emd sites that are not filled with content and updated regularly which is why the EMU (my example in previous post) is the best option.

    Gotlinks’ strategy is sound however you should also remember to build each page around the keyword phrase that you are using in the URI. For example if you use the keyword blue beaver in the URI, the content on that particular page should be about blue beavers and those words should also be found in meta and title tags of the page. Don’t try and put a bunch of keywords on the page that don’t have anything to do with blue beavers.
