Sure, YouTube can work. But the traffic would have to be very related in order for them to click on ads.

You can drive traffic from social media like twitter & Facebook.

Another way would be to drive traffic from image sharing sites like imgur.com

Of course. The methods you mentioned above can drive enough traffic to your site especially social media sites. Make sure you submit articles to good directories.

Yes on Youtube when your target keywords are also ranking and you put your post url on the description, not on social bookmarking because they only used it to get backlinks, maybe yes on Article Marketing if you do it correctly. Specifically, if you submit it to high traffics directories and you are using quality content for each article sites.
