Give some simple ways to increase the blog traffic. I want 1000 unique visitors per day.

    Pre-requisite to getting sustainable traffic: reasonably good content published on a regular basis

    Some suggestions for building traffic:
    1) Take time out to comment on other blogs relevant to the theme of your blog - you can build goodwill and a personal brand that way - with comments on some popular blogs you'll also find people clicking through from your name onto your website

    2) Spend time on forums like this and answer relevant questions, put your blog in your signature and you might get some traffic

    3) Guest post on relevant blogs - I've seen tremendous amounts of traffic from this if done on popular blogs; it's a time-consuming strategy because it takes time to find these blogs, write the kind of content they'd accept and then get it published but it's worth it

    4) Quite simply, advertise a little bit to build a decent audience base - if you have fun, viral-worthy articles, you could get a cheap way to advertise using stumbleupon ads and there might be a few others.

    There are lots of sources of traffics and websites to promote your site.

    Here's some of them:

    Forums
    Blogs
    Classified ads
    Social Networking Sites
    Etc.
