Canonical URL problem help please

I have a problem with my backlinks on my page Networkergeek - Network marketing news, online training, coaching & support

One member told me this:

I do see one potential problem. You have a canonical tag on your homepage pointing to your blog page, that can have quite a bad impact.

<link rel="canonical" href="http://www.networkergeek.com/mlm-blog/" />

My question. How can I solve the problem? I am newbie in this.

    A canonical tag means that the other page it's pointing to has duplicate content and tells search engines not to index it. Remove the tag and resubmit the blog to Google's index.

    Sorry but i don't see any problem in that. URL Canonicalization is the way to let google know the preferred version of a set of pages with highly similar content
