I have a google adwords campaign set up with 175 key words. @ 100 dollar budget a day, google traffic estimator predicts that I will get 300 clicks per a day. With these parameters in mind these are the conversion rates I need.

1.4% Break even
2% $1,500 profit
3% $3,750 profit
4% $6,000 profit
5% $8,250profit

What is a realistic conversion rate? My service is a much needed service for a niche and my service is the only one of its kind. Any info and guidance would be great. Thank you my fellow Warrior Forum brethren.

I say it depends on the niche. That is a lot of keywords, hopefully you are not spreading yourself out too thin for $100 bucks. I would recommend to focus on prime targeted keywords such as about 20-30 long tailed keywords

You should very easily get a >1.4% conversion rate. I have a 3% conversion rate for a very big finance company and a 10% conversion rate for a small business doing leadgen. Those are just two examples, but in all cases I was able to break a 1.4% conversion rate.

The success of your campaign is going to boil down to whether or not you are bringing the right traffic to your page.

    Best of luck!

It depends on the niche, the number of searches being performed, are they "buying" keywords and phrases, how well optimized is the landing page, are you split testing and iterating etc. etc. etc.

Sure you can get a good conversion rate but there are too many unknowns with your question for anyone to accurately assess what you are doing.

If you laser target your keywords and not be overly generic, you should get quality traffic. If not, conversion rates will drop like a stone. Next, if your page makes a convincing case that they should buy from you, you should achieve your high end conversion rate and maybe more. Of course, the more competition the harder it can be. But I don't see any reason why you couldn't achieve at least your break-even point. I have clients in the 4 to 6% range. Those who get 2% or less are not very good at selling and unfortunately don't remain clients for long.

So in a nutshell, bring in the right traffic with the right keywords then sell to them. Do one thing right and you may be successful. Do neither right and you're out of business. Do both of them right and you're laughing to the bank.

By the way, don't put much weight on that traffic estimate.

Adwords can work good if you find any profitable niche which has high volume of searches.
