Two websites b same author in similar niche

Hey guys,

Recently I have seen webmasters who have websites created in same niche and they are getting traffic from both these websites from Google.

I had thought it to be a bad practice. Is it or is it not?

    Not at all. It's actually a very good strategy. Provided the info is helpful and not just duplicate content, there is nothing wrong with it.

    I have 3 smallish sites in the building niche all linking to my my main site.

    Also have 3 sites in the spray tan niche doing well individually.

    As Wolf said, make them quality and all is good.
