I am getting huge traffic from Bing for only one keyword, but gettin poor traffic for that same keyword in Google.

Can someone please help me what is wrong. I do have one adnetwork running on my site which uses pop under, does that lowers my site on Google?

Thanks

At least your doing something right. You're tops on Bing!
Keep trying with your same methods or maybe try something a bit different with your link building.

It's only a matter of time (if your not doing anything black hat) till you get further up on Google's scale.

No I am not doing any black hat , actually My site contains more Images then written content, I guess I have to increase more written contents. Basically My site is a photo sharing site.

Have you registered with Bing Webmaster tools?
It has a section in it where it can inform on how you can improve your SEO as it acts like Google's webmaster tools.

If you follow a straight formula and your getting results on Bing then Google will follow.

A little seo trick is to use alt and title tags on images since you have mainly photos on the website

Take a look at your competitors on google for that keyword. It will give you an idea of what to do to rank for that keyword on google.

Hey, be happy that you're on #1 on Bing and getting a good amount of traffic. I'd almost suggest not doing too much to try and change your rankings on Google. (Could ruin a good thing.)

Similar story for me, just recently started SEO for Nebstone Online Marketing and Bing is currently producing much better results. Perhaps Google takes longer to begin fully trusting a newly developed site. Alternatively, Google could be implementing negative SEO with the Penguin update which could be a possibility. Depends if you think you've been doing any manipulative SEO techniques.

Google and Bing have their own guidelines when it comes to SEO. Now, if you are wondering if your site is not getting a good traffic from Google, then it's time to go back to the basic and review and understand Google's webmaster guidelines.

It's pretty easy to rank on Bing still. It's like google was before all their penguin and panda updates. You don't rank on Google because your site probably doesn't comply to google's quality standards ( including link practice, ad networks and placement etc ). Bing will still sleep with anyone.

Bing give higher rank to a site with fresh content in comparison to google because google also count many other factors to rank.

Post any more Yahoo/Bing tips here! My niche sites have just about all gone out of Google. I still don't know why. DuckDuckGo know I should rank #1 for my own product name (10yo B2B software product with 500+ sales) - Google think a FB page with stolen content is more relevant. Google are digging their own grave here if they think people will put up with these kinds of results.

I suspect duplicate content killed my older sites (people have posted my stuff everywhere since I was the authority in one software niche).

I've got one niche site that's hugely popular in Yahoo. I believe Yahoo likes older, larger niche sites with at least 100 posts.

Huge traffic from Bing and not so much from Google? Weird. I've had one particular page in a similar position, #2 on Bing and #9 on Google. The traffic I received from Google for a #9 spot was waaay more than the #2 Bing spot. I guess it depends on the niche/keyword/search term you're ranking for.
