Changing back to an old (2008) theme - any SEO negatives?

I changed the theme last year and then again this year, but I feel my old theme was the best in terms of site structure and overall look. But since the original theme was originally created in 2007, I wonder if there would be any issues hindering SEO because of its old design.

    If you go to search engines webmasters tools and see the new updates and what they have changed since last couple of years, you can change it according to them. Most importantly Keyword stuffing, hidden pages and quality of the content and many others to watch out. But overall should be fine once you fine tune your old template according to new webmasters guidelines.

    The theme is the Kubrick 3 column style. It has been customised quite a bit so looks different to how the bare theme looks.

    Its this theme but 3 layers http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/kubrick/
