How much do you make with Google Adsense?

I've been considering adding Adsense to some of my websites, but I'm not really sure I feel comfortable providing Google with all the private information they are requesting. Before I go through the headache of setting it up, I'd just like to get a feel from others -- do you like Adsense? How much do you make in a month? I realize there are a lot of factors that influence the value of a website, but I'm just curious as to what people on average are experiencing.
#adsense #google #make

my account got disabled awhile back but i used to make $900-$1000 a month. I liked it and wish i would not have put up those MFA sites and got banned. Keep in mind some niches only pay pennies and some pay dollars per click.

Yeah, choose your niches right and adsense can be your best friend. I make thousands a month with adsense, but then again I spend many hours on keyword research.. and setting up autoblogs.

I would definitely recommend utilizing adsense, even if its on a poor niche site, what can you lose?

    Hope this helps a little

try putting fewer ad blocks on the site and see what happens

I'm getting a dollar a click.. wish I had more traffic to those that are producing click thru. I was told that if someone clicks you get pennies to a quarter, if they actually buy something you get a LOT more.

I've gotten $2.60 for one click

it's not my main income, just a nice little bonus of $100 a month

There are a few keys to earning solid income from adsense. The two most important factors in my opinion are your niche (hopefully its a unique one) and creative and original content. Ad placement is pretty important as well, but if you do these things and have the longevity to continue with your site you should start to see your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly balances improve.

    Hey Guys,

I am currently running Adsense on 5 sites most all of them in their start up phase. I have one niche site that it getting about 70 visits a day and is earning about $1.50 a day or $45.00 a month. I hope that as the other sites grow the earnings will increase exponentially.

I have been working for about 3 months now on building these niche sites and have to say that I am very happy with the direction in which my adsense portfolio is moving. In my first month I made $12.00. The second month was $35.00 and the third was $58.00. If you do the keyword search build the traffic and the sites the amount you can earn with adsense can be very high.

But don't break the TOS or you will get banned and you will lose what you had in your account plus future earnings.

I actually am not trying to get the ban lifted. Adsense is not worth it ot me anymore. The constant stress ans TOS changes make it more of a headache then it is worth. I have almost replaced my income from adsense with clickbank promotions and prefer that much better.

When i got banned they paid me the $700+ that they owed me.

It is great that you got paid. Most everyone that I have heard of lost what was in their account. Google basically said the money was earned from fraud so they didn't have to pay it out.

The only thing I don't like about Adsense is that you don't have any chance of appealing. Basically Google says ban and you are banned no chance of explaining what happened or even if you weren't involved in the TOS break.

Well some sites do reach literally thousands of dollars. I myself when I start a new blog I don't earn anything in the first months.
After a month or two, when the site or blog starts to get listed higher in google and I start seeing a nice visitor flow (daily), I start focusing on adding google ads.

I still try to focus on let's say writing content and updating my blog/site, as this will have a huge impact on your daily number of visitors and your long term site profit.

All in all, if you work hard enough, have original content, update your site/blog regularly and have just a little bit of luck, you will be learning a couple hundred of dollars in the first year or possibly even more.
Some sites stop at a 200$ monthly profit- and some sites go up to 20.000$ or 40.000$, but this takes a lot of work and sadly it's very improbable that you will reach that goal.

I wish I could get answers.
    What makes adsense click?
    What really gets you banned?
Why the fluctuation, 2 cents ones day, $10 the next, then zero, then repeat?
What colors work best? I have seen ugly ones!
What size and placement really works?
I have read and paid for ebooks, and nothing really gives me the meat.
Where's the beef? I usually read blogs that people put in their sig

wish there was a once-and-for-all adsense reference guide.
I've even tried the success stories, to no avail.

Wheni built my adjustable mortgage site i built it around people who were in trouble with their loans, this meant they were hungry for information. THat translated into good CTR. That niche also paid me over $2 per click on average.

The solar niche was also great and the earnings were lower per click but hte ctr was over 20%.

Of the 20 sites i had with the same layout the CTR was all over the plalce from 2-25%. I truly believe it is niche related and if you target a niche were people want info then the CTRS will be higher as opposed to just general information.

What i mean is that if you target people facing an adjustable mortgage they cannot refinance they will click on anything that looks like it may help them, as opposed to the guy with good credit who is just looking for rates or information on closing costs. Once he reads his answer to thhe question he has he is done and probably could care less about the ads.

In short I did well targeting people who were desperate or looking for a solution

I just recently started having my first $20 plus days... It's off of one niche and one article per day to ezine articles... I've written about 30 articles on this niche so far so i'm at the point where I can pretty much come up with an article from scratch and i've learned what the reader needs to see in order to make them click over to my website.

This is by far my best month ever and instead of trying to make a bunch of MFA sites i'm going to just take it one site at a time... my current site gives 1.50-2.00 clicks every time and i'm trying to find another niche that does the same... I may have to try some of the suggestions from captivereef.

As far as my layout is concerned... Adsense above the fold, right under a title that isn't encouraging the reader to click. I've heard that's a good way to get banned.

My layouts are extremely simple with a custom graphic on the top and a 5 menu link bar that blends subtly into the left side of the page on the top left under the graphic.

I seriously feel i'm at that point now to where if I found a niche or two more that pays like this i'm going to be doing well enough with Adsense to move on to Clickbank products to diversify my income a little bit as that's always the smart thing to do.

Keep pushing guys... after so many attempts you find something that works... and with that you can start to see that beautiful light at the end of the tunnel.

If you got between 1.00 to 5.00 dollars per click and make it a consistent basis then it will be worthwhile to continue with adsense. I am not making that much with adsense as of yet but I just got last month for just below 300.00 dollars.
