BOTW worth it?

BOTW is having their annual sale...anyone have any opinion on whether they are worth it or not?

    Dmoz and BOTW are about the only directories that Google reps have specifically named as worthwhile, so yeah I think it is worth it. Only $150 today to be in there forever.

      Their website says $300 for one time fee and $150 for annual fee? Its not forever....

          They have said that paying for a chance to be included in a directory is not bad. They have loved BOTW, Dmoz, and Yahoo! directories for years, and 2 out of those 3 you have to pay to get into. The third, you have to blow an editor to get into it.

      Yup. Like I've said. The directories worthwhile you can count on one hand.

      I think you can pay $300 to be "forever."

      Would I pay that? Probably not. But I'd pay them before I paid
      yahoo.

              Sure. If you were limited in funds and had to do one or the other.

              I just do both.

              Although, finding a good PR 5 for $300 these days... pretty tough.

                Fair enough. PR6s are my favorites now. Cost value ratio is ton loads better. picked up a PR6 for under three hundred the other day. Second one in a few weeks at that price. Let the masses run all over Godaddy.

    I have several sites listed in BOTW it is a quality directory that is worth being in but no 1 link will make your site any better. I would rather spend that $300 buying my own high page rank domain as the Mikes are talking about above. Much better use of your money.
