    All the basics really.. make sure any ads you have onsite are also below the fold.. and the product descriptions for the products are unique so cannot be classed as dup content.

      I rank pages all day long with an Ad top/center of the pages.

      The problem isn't having Ads above the fold, the problem is not having content above the fold (not the same things).

        Ads above the fold is one of the major reasons ezine got slapped so badly.. with panda..

        I've been doing panda site recoveries for the past year and ads above the folder is one of the major penalties onpage...

    on page optimization is an how you are going to optimizing your contents. Don't stuff your keywords. Just make your page as user friendly. Do it for real visitors don't do it for search engines.

    For any E-commerce website, each page must be optimized according to product. Mention product name in title keyword as well in description also.
    Use proper Heading Tags, Alt tags.

    Interlink your pages, with emphasis on pages that you want people to visit most
    Establish a good sitemap
    Make sure that your meta tags for each page is unique and fully optimized

      Take out meta keywords-not used anymore.

      Have a solid meta desc less than 155 characters

      Have a solid TT less than 67 characters.

      Make sure you add rel canonicals to all pages

      Make a good H1 on all pages, dont have dup h1s, dup meta descriptions, dup TT, or anything else that you can dup including content.
