So PRWeb is in some hot water for not having enough editorial oversight on their releases. It's much much worse than what's described in the article.
But I thought I'd remind people: Press releases (yes even those from top tier PRWEB or PRnewswire) don't give much credit ..if any at all. The reason people shell out 200+ bucks is for the coverage and the human eye balls it can put on your "news". It helps build your brand. And of course, links may result indirectly from it.
That's why it is a waste of time to even try the free (or cheap) press release sites. Nobody reads them, so what's the point. What it all boils down in anything you do is to focus less on 'building links', and more on doing the things that attract links.
