Alternative to Google Adwords

Hi,

I'm new to IM thought I ask this question.

Are there any other effective method that you have used in the past or currently to drive traffic into your landing page without using Google Adwords?

If so, any suggestions?

    Facebook PPC is great. I'm using it at the moment and I'm getting some really cheap traffic.

    As with any PPC, start small and make sure you test keywords, ads, copy etc and always track your results.

    You can do Forum Advertising.
    Just search on google your keyword+forum, for example if you were looking for a forum in the cat niche, just search "cat+forum" (without quotes), you will find forums that talk about this inside their threads, and this means they have customers interested in that niche as well.

    Try to send a PM to their admin saying you'd like to contribute to their forum by posting some interesting contents (maybe an article with your affiliate link of whatever you'd like) and ask them to make your thread a sticky one. If they regret it, just offer them money and if this repays you, just offer them more!! By deciding a fixed monthly price, you'll have an alternative and valid traffic and TARGETED source as quick as possible

    If you are looking for other PPC networks you could try 7search or Bing’s advertising platform (Microsoft ad center).

    If you are looking for non-PPC methods, the tactics other members have mentioned are always options. You can also work on doing some SEO for your site to drive some organic traffic.

    Bing/Yahoo, Facebook PPC, 7 Search, You Tube paid traffic, banner marketing with ppc on websites where your target audience searches.

      Facebook advertising is awesome too. You can target your audience easily, especially if your competitors have huge fan pages.

      It's a great opportunity because people still aren't really focused on facebook ads. As long as you track and test the results (which you should do for any PPC), there's a true goldmine there.

        The next obvious step if you can't go with Adwords for whatever reason (account banned? happened to many of us...) would be to choose Bing/Yahoo. Would definitely stick with first tier networks like Bing, Facebook etc. before diving into 2nd tier networks like 7search...cheaper but A LOT less volume and quality.

    Besides google, I think bing/yahoo ads will work well, followed by facebook ads. But if you can do some content work yourself, it will help a lot.
