Hi there,

Basically I am trying to establish what is the best practice for keyword research for different languages.

We are working with a large international company for whom we translate a lot, and they now want us to get involved in providing Keyword research and/ or translation.

Our client will provide us either with EN keywords or EN content.

We then need to provide the following services:

Keyword research

A list of Target Language Keywords

Translated content (incorporating the keywords chosen)

Or original content (incorporating the keywords chosen)

The big question is how do we define/ get to the correct keywords?

Which companies can do this for me? so we get English content, have them translated into other languages with the correct translated keywords and SEO for those keywords in other countries?

If you can recommend or point me to companies that can do this that would be great!

Non English keywords are easier to rank than the English keywords. To get better results in SEO, make sure to provide original contents in the other language which related to the non English keywords.

https://adwords.google.com/o/KeywordTool can do research plenty of non English keywords in any languages.

you can use google trends for part of your research. Here you have a search for a word in Spanish: cafetera (means coffee machine)

    Google Trends

(you need to be logged in to see actual numbers)

it gives you searches over time. You can see if there is seasonality, if it is a rising market or if it is dying.

other interesting features are location and related keywords.

Yes, himanuzo and Sandra Martinez are right.
Just use Google Keywords and Google Trends, you can find a lot of profitable keywords for non-english Market.

I've always thought about doing this, but decided not to because there would be no way for me to reliably check over the content that I purchase. I would assume that ranking for non-english keywords is only effective when the content is in the language that the keyword is in.
