No. Impression will only be count if that page is loaded in the browser on which you AD is appearing.

So, if your AD is on 3rd page and user gets to 3rd page then your impression will be counted but if user left from page 1 or 2, your impression won't get counted.

you DO get impressions if your ad is "not showing on the first page".

what's more, even with "your ad is not showing on the first page", you can still get first page impressions, and even get an average position that is clearly on page 1 - like 5.6 or 7.2

this is because the bidding auction is NOT the same every time - we all have different bids, geographies, daily budgets, show asap vs even spread, etc. which means sometimes, even with a low bid, you luck out and get a page 1 impression. we often use this strategy quite deliberately on high volume high price terms - bid 10% of the "first page min bid" and get a few hundred impressions per day - with really cheap clicks.

BUT the impression count is much lower, obviously (like 10% or less) than the possible impressions if you are bidding enough to get regular page 1.

also, if the URL is invalid, the AdVariant/keyword combo is generally inactive (even if it says it isn't) - i THINK that happens because the check is done the first time the AdVariant/keyword combo features in an auction, so until that first auction it claims it's ok.

if your ad is not showing at all:
      1) check the URL is valid
      2) crank up the bid price and budget, quickly run a few searches to spot the ad, then drop the bid and budget back again
      3) if it still doesn't show, it may be manually blocked - e.g. if you have tripped a red flag and google's locked out the advariant until a human has checked it - wait 4-5 days and see if it restarts, then ask google support.

when searching for your ad, click the browser "refresh" a few times - notice how the ads displayed can change - yours might only come up every 3 or 4 refreshes.

It is ok putting every pages adwords so that every time user click another page your impression will be counted as many impressions a day you are looking for.

That's what I thought but I have a campaign that says the ads are running (well says they aren't because the destination URL is in't working but every ad says that right now) I can go 20 pages deep and still not see my ad. WTF?I swear to God Adwords sucks

You need to put in the right destination URL or your ads will never show. Are you direct linking, using landing page or iFrame or what?? Are you using a CPA network?

I'm curious about your situation. Mind if I take a gander into this? No charge. I'm very easily amused and this is just one of those things that excites me even if it's not for a pay check. The wife thinks I'm nuts.

Adwords is funny. On one of my campaigns. my destination URL was exactly the same is my display URL which is one of my sites, and Adwords was saying destination URL isn't working properly and I was still getting impressions and still came up in search.

I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was wrong, then the message just went away lol... so yeah... I don't know what that was about. Maybe some Google employee from India messed up when they were checking it out or something.

My suggestion is to look up the Google adwords learning center.
This is where you will learn really what google wants you to do to use their tool correctly.
