SEO & Empower Network

Hello all,

Wondering if anybody here knows if Empower Network has been dumped from Google.

Obviously when it first came along the big selling point was it could rank for any keyword in no-time flat due to leveraging the domain authority Empower Network had built.

A friend of mine who is involved tried selling me on it due to it's SEO benefits, but I can't seem to find anything that shows Google hasn't crushed them already.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

      That was it's selling point. You could simply blog about whatever you choose, it would rank very easily for the terms in your blog post, and the structure of the blog would convert traffic into joining the Empower Network.

      Their main site has only amassed a PR 4. That doesn't seem terribly authoritative.
      That's interesting actually. I remember when it first came out, people were ranking for insane keywords in 24-48 hours when it first came out, like "make money online" keywords.

      It just doesn't seem to be doing that anymore so I'm wondering what could have happened.

      I can't find anything that cements they've crumbled, but it really doesn't look as powerful as it once was.

      It's Alexa Rank was one ridiculously high, there's no way I can see Google knowing about how the platform games their system and not doing something about it.

      It's a blog that you purchase into and you get your own blog built off of it. It's built of the WordPress platform, and you can only stay with the stock theme, no plugins.. so it's very standard.

      The funnel converts very well, I've seen COMPLETE newbies come in, no comprehension of internet marketing, with a little guidance with Facebook PPC, go to $3k in the very first month.. just because of how well the funnel converts.

      The concept works like this.

      You write a blog post on anything, we'll take skateboarding for example.

      It ranks very high for the term skateboarding, which generates traffic, the way the blog is laid out, it's main focus is to generate clicks into the funnel.. and that's how it works.

      It's really basic, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't rank very well anymore, so the main source of traffic the whole thing was built for, is no longer viable.

      Its a MLM company. You join them , pay them almost $40 per month, you get a blog where you can post and invite others to join under your referral. You will get comission for every referral.

    dont hate me for saying this but I have a badddd feeling about empowered network for some reason.

    1) People will join and flood the crap out of it.

    2) it will be deemed to pyramid and banned from more places online. Its already starting to see the banning army flick the empowered network off.

      Not necessarily. I'd argue many, even most, people with an online business should use an offshore corporation.

    I hate MLM and those scammers that set it up more then anything but I got to say, they are pretty damn good at marketing to pull these kind of things of the ground.

    Everyone knows, or should know that it's all worthless and bullshit hype and still they manage to get 1000's of peoples to sign up. Kudos to that.

    Guess it's same like the WSO people, as long as the group of losers is large enough then their combined efforts can create campaigns that look viral.

    Lately I also read some thing about some Ted Williams that would make x people millionaire or something. Then I googled his name and couldn't find a legit blog talking about the guy, only brand new profiles popped up everywhere on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and what not.

    FakeItTillYouMakeIt would be jealous of it.

      Could you imagine If you had any major MLM email list, you would probably get nearly a 100% conversion rate no matter what you was selling.

        EN is what got me started with IM, I have made money with the system but I've spent a lot more on their training and promoting the system. I believed in the system for a long time but the more and more I started following more legit marketers like Pat Flynn the more I grew to dislike EN. I honestly CANNOT STAND the kind of people that promote EN, most of them borderline spam events and groups on Facebook among non-stop only talking about their business. It's just annoying.. people who only talk about "the 1k per day formula" start to drive you insane after a while.

    Has anyone used Empower Network as a means of creating backlinks for their money site? That was the main reason I joined and if I make money with it that's cool too.

    Is ^^^this even a legitimate strategy? I'm brand new to IM and just trying to get started.

      As far as backlinks, it really is not much different than creating a blog on any Web 2.0 site. You are creating links on a PR n/a or PR 0 page. Not all that valuable by itself from an SEO standpoint, despite what they will try to tell you.
