Can someone explain for me - Backlinks

Hi,,

Do bad backlinks hurt rank ? If so could your competitor add bad links to your website to lower your rank ?

Sorry if I´m 2xposting here. I did post this question this morning but I dont find my thread again even after using the search option..

No it doesn't hurt your website. Unless they are spammy like 100% of your anchor text are all your targeted keywords.
