2013 Google Update Name!

You guys simply don't get it, it's been years and you still don't get it.

Penguin and panda were named the way they were because they are BLACK and WHITE (black hat vs white hat).......

Therefore the next big one will be called zebra or similar.

Well blog comments are already down voted but Google so I don't think that we will see another change in this area.

My guess is that Google will continue to concentrate its effort on unique content and brand names instead of keywords. They done it already but not enough since many sites still ranks well with crappy content.

Predictions are a mug's game. However, I think 2013 will be quiet for anti-SEO updates. My reasoning is that the actual searches I've been doing lately have been pretty poor. There's way too much old stuff showing up now, like forum posts from 2006. Soory Google, but authority does not always equal the best results!

2013 could be a bit of a search backlash year if the general public start noticing it too.

Search is wide open for Facebook, Apple or Amazon to steal from Google.

I find google likes to use cute names for their game changing updates (maybe seems to mitigate the view of it's impact lol)

My guess is Google Bears or Google Dolphin (<- This seems more likely)

Anybody's guess what google might change this time; I think it would be slightly less serious but more focused towards user interaction and action as well as social signals. Large importance with backlinks but better detection of foul play specifically further with wikis. Maybe some changes on search displays

I think blog comments already took quite a large hit. I try to avoid any bulk blog comments in our SEO campaigns...firstly having websites myself, I hate those spam and also very often easy to get penalized especially with those "auto approve list"; aways tried to avoid those tactics - not reliable.
