hi-

my site has now been actively up for about 5 months. I have received some sale, but not enough to sustain my living expenses, etc.

Would you make recommendations on improvements, etc.

The site is Trendsetter Vintage - Shop Vintage Clothing Online | Vintage Inspired Dresses

I get about 150 visits per day. I clearly need more traffic and more converting traffic.

The majority of my google referrals goes to the blog listed on the sub-domain.

Currently I post to the blog 1-2 times per week. I also do blog commenting for back links. I research my keywords and use on product pages, etc. I actively post on facebook, and pinterest.

I have tried google adword, but did not yield results.

What else can I do to improve? I am willing to work as hard as needed.

I know I need more organic results, but not sure what direction to go.

    Where are you building links to ? Install prosper202,piwik,get heat map on your site. See user behavior on your website. Exit pages-enter pages. Link images to your products. Once you have more data you can increase sales to push product to users. Check your competitors and try to understand how they funnel their traffic to shop.

      I only now became familiar with heat map, and have only been using google analytics. I'll need to get up to speed on this.
      Regarding links, I send the links to my home-page, some category pages, and a few product pages.
      Is this the correct thing to do?
