Worked months for a PR 6 link from a PR 7 site

There is a site that makes a script for websites (jquery/css related). It is a PR 7 site with a PR 6 examples page. They only list great examples of sites using their script with only about a dozen total on the list. To integrate the script we spent a few months getting it added to our site, and then really making it a great example of their script in use. Then we asked them if they would include us.

This is how you can get strong pagerank legitimately. It takes effort. We spent many hours on this one link. But when you have a few strong links like this, you can look forward to many years of having a good pagerank for your site.

page rank is the least important ranking factor. A PR3 link with relevant / similar content would benefit you more.

Just got back from a #BrightonSEO. I was given room 404 in the hotel I stayed at. Couldn’t find it anywhere!

I wouldn't say its the least important ranking factor. I think you exaggerated your point somewhat.

Sure. Least important ranking factors are server I.P, TLD and so forth. Still, page rank is awful these days, especially since it's all correlated. One PR7 site linking to a new site = new site turns to PR4/PR5.

But, a PR5 site with 50,000 PR1 links is 10x more powerful. Page rank is alright, but never use it to determine a page's quality.

I'm not complaining that I have a PR 6 site that is really hot for turning 7 and an alexa rank in the top 10,000 quite often.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Every one of my Amazon niche sites has a PR7 link. Quick tip: There's one forum in particular which has plenty of PR7/PR8 topics with 0obl. They also allow links in content & all links are DoFollow.

Now, your mission is to find which forum.

Awesome work man. A handful of links like that will do 100x more than any link package nonsense.

I think people forget how exponential link values really work. Had someone once tel me they would rather have 3 Pr0 links then 1 Pr4. lol
