I have a domain which contains my main keyword.

What my backlink profile should look like?

So far I use:
20% LSI
30% URL + site name
40% Generic (click here etc.)
10% Main Keyword
#anchor #diversity #text

these look great mate just make sure you build a safety net of generic anchor text before you start going big guns with more lsi or synonyms.

I wonder if my generic anchor part percentage is too high?

LSi doesn't contain keywords, only keyword part contains the keyword.

    I am using
    20% LSI
60% URL + site name (as a brand)
    10% Generic (click here etc.)
    10% Main Keyword

Roughly said, Google pays more attention on "organic" anchors... for example
you can head over to iPhone Review and see if there is anything interesting for you
    instead
you can click here and see if there is anything interesting for you.

Diversification of anchors is also important. you already know it, since you are already doing it. this is just my example.

I agree with you. You have described something that I would have suggested. It is important that you diversify your anchor text properly, and using the url while backlinking looks very natural.

Thanks. For examle i saw that amazon.com backlinks profile is probably more than 70% brand/URL.However I am afraid to use that much url/brand anchors, especially for deep pages, bacause their urls contains main keywords.

Also, it seems that amazon doesn't use click here type of anchors that much, not 40% as I use.

Yet, it may be smart to use such percentage on homepage. I noticed that deep urls are used slighly less than anchors, even a certain percentage of anchors of links that lead to deep pages aren't only the page urls, but root domain based anchors.

I would personally try to do at least 50% with the url and variations of just the url.

I would increase the percentage of URL/site name instead of generic words. It will help you to establish the online branding over your website.

Here is a secret, virtually no one is doing this and it is GOLD.

Weak links/low authority links/general mass links: Vary anchor hugely. No kws, raw url, random shiz.
    Strong links: Your exact kw.

This allows you to build a massive buffer of links that arent powerful. Then you use your exact anchor on the really juicy links. This is what i am doing right now. Totally works and is the smartest way to do it if you think about it logically. You want your most powerful links to give you the most bang for your buck. Then everything else is just balancing it out, making things look natural.

You will probably end up with less than 10% of your links being your keyword. You just have the 10% that provide 90% of your ranking power. Kinda like the 80/20 rule for anchor text diversity lol.

    Your welcome.

I don't use unrelated keywords, I use my main keywords and I try to make it natural related to or centered to the main keyword.
