    In the first place, You will not get backlink from PR 6 page (it's homepage PR, Not your listing page PR). You listing page will have PR N/A or 0.

    Now ask yourself, How much you should pay for PR N/A or 0 backlinks?

    Yes, I noticed that. The page I would be listed on would indeed be a PR5.

    I suppose my main concern is how Google feels about this. After all, I would be paying for a link and certainly some day, I assume, these will all be worthless. Or will they?

      You need to check OBL as well. If there are thousands of links on one page, your're sharing the link juice with the others.

    How many other links will there be on the page? How does Google feel about directory listings these days? And, to a lesser extent, DoFollow or Nofollow?
