Hello folks!

I have couple of "microniche" sites that got bashed by Google while ago... I have no interest in rebuilding them and/or trying to get them ranked again so I don't know what to do with them.

To be more specific, I have 3xPR1, 3xPR2, 3xPR3 and 1xPR4 sites.

As far as I know, PR1's are quite worthless nowadays, but PR2,PR3 and PR4 can sometimes do wonders... So, I might want to make my own private network using those sites, but before that, I want to know what kind of value do they have? Let's say I want to sell my PR2's , PR3's and PR4 site - how much would I get from them?

Thanks!

How good are your websites? Would you send the list?

Since Google already killed your website they won't do anything good for your clients. These links doesn't hold any value despite the fact that they are PR1-4 websites.

But as your clients won't know about the value of these domain names you can still manage to sell the links. Not the cleanest business model but it will work.

Valuation depends on how much someone is willing to pay for these names. Otherwise they are not worth much without traffic and revenue.

Have you done some sort of case study about that or where do you get that information. Most of the websites that rent out high PR links are ranked nowhere in Google... Are you sure that the ranking factor is related to PR juice?

I had a bunch from a long time ago that got hit because of using a blog network. The one is a PR3, very very popular site. For the niche, it would get 2 - 4 thousand people a day and tons of natural links, shares, etc. I did two submits and the site is gone. Anything I have linked from that site or many others never did me any good. I am not sure if it was just coincidence that the other sites never rose, but that is my experience with penalized sites.

    Hi,

You can sell the sites on Flippa.com (https://flippa.com)

As for the amount of money you get for these sites, it depends on the revenues the sites had generated in the last months.

From the digging I did on Flippa, it is acceptable to sell a site for the average revenues in the last year or in the last 3 months X 12 months.

However, it is not a rule, the price for each site depends on the potential it has to make money.

So if you decide to sell your sites, I recommend that you include in your offer's description some suggestions on how to make money from them. That way, even if the sites are not really making money right now, others may see a potential in them.

    Hope that helps...

    Danit
