I had written a few articles and submitted them to directories like : 2 articles on articlbase, 2 articles on amazines, 2 articles on goarticles and 1 at Article Rich.

Except 1 each article from amazines and articlebase all the other articles links are not indexed yet, it has been more than 1 month.

I use google webmasters tool see the indexed links. So will it take more time or will the links get lost. Even many of the web 2.0 links too aren't indexed yet.

Is Google Web Masters tool good to check for link indexing or should i rely on opensite explorer or some other paid tool.

Thank You.

Google is not going to show you all the indexed links. Also you cant rely on only opensite explorer or any other tool like it. Take the live URL and then put into google with "" marks. If search result replies with the inputed URL your article is indexed in google for sure. But if you dont see any exact matching result then dont be worried thinking google dont know about the articles. There are many factors google consider before showing a link on its direct search results. You had better bookmark the articles using popular bookmarking sites. Another simple way is put your articles into wordpress, blogspot and openwiki too. Then build contextual backlinks from blogspot, wordpress, openwiki to the article directory articles. There are tons of different ways that I can tell you but this method works 80% time for me.
