Simple rank/index quesiton

Lets say you have a website about the human throat and the threatments of it.
And you domain name is throat.com (example)
You want to rank for subkeywords like "throat cancer" but you put the page on a submenu,so the link becomes something like this:throat.com/diseases/throat-cancer/
Will this link/page have more difficulties ranking and indexing because of the subfolder ("diseases") behind the actual page?
