PR juice

hi guys,
i am a newbie to the world of SEO and i would really appreciate you help on a few questions:
A.

i understand that if i get a back link from a website i get some of it's PR juice, to my understanding most given websites transfer 85% of their juice divided by number of outgoing links on that page.
but if that is so how does a page keep it's high rank. i mean if it looses 85% of
it's juice to the websites it links to?

B.
internal links - do my internal links transfer the same amount of juice from the page as my outgoing links do? and does that juice come from my 85% of transferred juice (as a outgoing link) or does it use the 15% that is kept in my website?

C.
is the PR still used in my SERP ranking?

D.
as their such a thing as "bad" juice. if i get linked to from a low ranking page, does that harm in any way my ranking?

    A. Because it still has juice flowing into it from the sites linking to it.

    B. I'm not sure exactly what the numbers are but from my experience all links work equally for passing power whether internal or external.

    C. Of course. It's still a huge factor, anyone who says it isn't doesn't have a clue.

    D. Not exactly, but if you get a lot of links from sites Google has already flagged as spam related then it can hurt you now, yes.

      so i have juice flowing in from other websites and the more ougoing links ill put in my website the more of their power ill loose?

    Yes, linking out will mean losing PR from your linking page. Internal linking keeps the PR on your site but moves it around to different pages.

    NO!! The PR of your page wouldnt change just because you add more outbound links. it means that it changes the worth of the outgoing links. if that were the case wikipedia wouldnt have any PR.

    Page rank is divided among all the links in any page, internal and external. if you have 5 links(internal and external), the page rank will be divided equally IMO.

    is the PR still used in my SERP ranking?
    NO!! would it make sense if i tell you that its the backlinks that result in whatever PR you have and its the same backlinks that plays an important role in ranking a particular keyword. if you lose some high quality backlinks, you'll see some drop in the SERP as well as in PR.

    low ranking page? if a crappy/spammy website selling viagra/porn links to you then yes it will harm your ranking.

      thank you for the great reply. there is still one thing i don't understand.
      how can Wikipedia have a ranking of 9 if they transfer their "juice". dose that mean they have a higher ranking page linking to them?

      i understand you dont loose juice when you are linking out because "juice" is still coming in. but where does the "juice originate from.

      i hope i am using the right terminology and not confusing you guys to much
