Hello,

Is there a way to know for sure if a domain has hidden PR backlinks.
I've came across a PR6 domain which got no PR6,7... backlinks and still survived the last PR update last week.
Since Google doesn't tell us what are the backlinks of every domain my guess is there are some hidden high PR backlinks for this domain.
What do you think ?

I can't see how a web site could have hidden backlinks, if they are hidden then Google won't be able to see them either which would make them pointless in terms of PR.

Also, don't forget that sources for backlink data are always behind the curve. They don't index as fast as Google nor do they update their data points as fast. Compare opensiteexplorer.org vs ahrefs.com on a few domains and you will see variations.

PR might be fake! Use Google and "info" operator to check those first. Unfortunately google info check is not always correct! You are not going to get correct result if the redirection is 302 based. So you need to analyze backlins closely. This is time consuming and tedious job but worth at the end as you are not going to be fooled by purchasing/subscribing a fake PR site/page.
