I just bought Scrapebox and I love it, but besides leaving blog posts on high PR sites, submitted articles, press releases, forum posts. Where or how do I become part of network that ALOT of seo companies use to post or blog on high relevant sites where I can put what anchor text I want for backlinks. I want to keep my anchors as diverse but relevant as possible. I don't get it.. If I pay a seo company 600 dollars a month they create links pointing back to my site on "okay" PR sites (what the hell am I missing, where do I find these sites or blogs to place my anchor text?) Do alot of seo companies just "Own" a bunch of sites and as they get new customers they add your link to them? My niche is weddings and a lot of wedding sites want you to pay to get a link and half the time IT'S A DAMN NOFOLLOW !!!

Thanks

Some people create their own networks, some tap into others. It just depends on how much money you want to spend, and how much work you want to invest into it.

Yeh I think creating your own network is definitely the way to go. I started mine fairly recently and will be working on it probably for the rest of my life. Since its a niche I know how to monetize well.

If you're not willing to join a network, you're only choice is to create your own. Whether they're simple web 2.0 sites or private networks, the goal is to backlink them same way you backlink your website. Let them age, let the pr go up, and use them to link to your money site. I noticed that in both my niches, this is what all my top competitors are doing. So I'm simply building a bigger/better quality network than they are. It will take a while, but I'm sure it will be worth it.
