I just found 30 domains which are not alive according to scrapebox. Now want to check which domain are already taken and which are available. I tried godday bulk domain availability checker (Bulk Domain Names | Bulk Domain Name Search Tool - GoDaddy.com). But its really confusing me!

When I run the 30 domains in godday bulk domain availability checker I see 4 domains are available to register. But when I try to register them using godaddy it says the domain is already registered!!!

Pretty annoying situation!!! Can anyone help me if I am doing wrong?

GoDaddy remind me of the dodgy selllers in the MMO niche! Even their email marketing campaigns are like these sellers! GD sucks!

      GD really sucks!

OP get an independent free software for checking available domains like Domain Name Analyzer v5 and you are good to go. As for a good domain registrar I suggest Dynadot.

The most annoying thing is its UI is extremely complex and I just cant understand why site owners made it like this!! I left Yahoo many years ago when google just started! I left Yahoo as it was looking to complex to me.

However which bulk domain checker tool you are using and which domain registration service providers you are using?

Data isn't always updated in all databases in real time. Sometimes there is some conflicting data between the different domain companies. I like to use Domain Name Search & Instant Availability Check - PCNames.com then confirm with godaddy

There have been confirmed cases of them doing this. I have myself put in a domain that they said was registered only later to be able to buy it at another registrar.

Don't ever use those online domain checkers, you'll check today & the domain is available, you check tomorrow & guess what, it's been bought (doubtful it's a coincidence, multiple times).

Manually check the domain in your browser, or you can create a URL file in Xenu Link Sleuth (free), run the software to only search the Index pages of the URL list, then look for all the no such host results. Done.

    BTW, use namecheap.

I found a pretty good domain when 1st starting out using godaddy. Like an idiot I left ot for a day or two and went back. The domain had gone. Very annoyed I looked at the who.is and eventually found that it had been taken by a company owned by godaddy. They are very very well known for doing this so watch out.
