Before anyone laughs, Popcorn Palace is a multi-million dollar online/offline business.

My point is, be known for something useful that people want.

Of course facebook marketing is a buzzing word for internet marketers today. Lots of aspects are related with this. And what is more a little learning will never give a output of huge income.

I think the overall approach for generating traffic from Facebook to a main site is about being a loyal Facebook user. If you create valuable and engaging content, leave comments on other people’s posts, interact with relevant communities and stay active – then your Facebook page is very likely to attract visitors and drive traffic to the site.

In order to promote a money site with Facebook page I join relevant Facebook groups, comment and discuss there, trying to hook people to information provided . Also, the main site and the corresponding Facebook page should go, sort to say, hand-in-hand: when the site is updated, I share this information on Facebook. But I also avoid being too annoying and don't post several times a day, instead I prefer to go for one (sometimes two) but meaningful post.

As per my experience, visual content works at best, because people are more likely to share it, and that's why posts with iconographics almost always bring more traffic than plain text posts. So, my suggestion is to create iconographics and shareable pictures which add some value and help to better understand the subject matter and attach them to each post.

There is also a plenty of social media monitoring apps which make the SMM job easier: you can post, monitor activities and schedule with their help, especially if you target multiple social media platforms (for instance for me Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn are a must).
