It's not difficult if you just do things naturally. If you were to write a 500 word article about Dodge Trucks you would naturally use the word Dodge and Truck the most. Google will see this and position your page in the search results accordingly.

If you don't have the keyword on a web page, how is the search engine going to know the web page is about that keyword?

      • H1, H2, & H3 Tags: these tags are very important(especially <H1>), and should always contain your keyword.
      • Keyword Location Within Text: try to place each your keyword near the beginning of the first sentence of each paragraph (maintaining at least 100 words between paragraphs).
      • Keyword Density: you should aim for a density of 3% for each keyword that you're targeting.
      • Use Your Keywords as Anchor Text on your page: link to an internal page on your site, and then link to an authority site (eg: wikipedia) that is related to your keyword. Always remember to use the "No Follow" tag (rel="nofollow") when linking to an external site.
      • Images: use the "alt tag" and rename your images to your chosen keywords.
      • Decorate Your Keywords: bold, italicise, or underline your keyword at least one time.
      • Google Loves Unique Content: your post should be between 850-1000 words and be well structured around your main keywords.
Once you've added content and optimized your site, you should start creating backlinks to your site (or outsource this). The backlinks should be dofollow, relevant, and on pages with a high PR. High quality backlinks will increase your rankings and PR.

"Julia" just spams a bunch of nonsense. "Her" list is bogus to begin with.

I wonder if his mom knows he spends this much time on the computer.

Keywords are essential. These are the words that people type in when they are looking for information. So if you wrote about "How to Toilet Train Your Dog" people searching for something like this may type in "Toilet train your dog."

You can use Google keyword tool to find out what keywords are searched for in your niche.

To answer briefly - Keyword usage on page is important and it may help you rank for the keywords on Google and other SEs.

However, the right keyword usage will only help you to rank for low-competition keywords, while the rest require link building (also known as 'off-page' SEO).

With regard to keyword research - there are tons of people on WF who does that. Just search WF for "keyword research" in post titles. If you need more help feel free to pm me.

Keywords are probably the most important factor that can determine the success of any SEO campaign. They are the matched terms that fetch relevant results on a Search Engine. If chosen & optimized properly it can boost incredible traffic. On the flip side, if you fail on this very first step, the road ahead could be bumpy and most likely you will waste your time & money

Use variety. Google knows about synonyms and you *should use them*. Don't repeat your key-phrases. Use synonyms, use synonyms and make your text look natural
