Your stats are about right. You'll get 1-2% click rate. The cost of the clicks is the variable.

        You'll need 10,000 people/day at 50 cents, usd.

You can't possibly know OPs CTR when all OP said was:

It does give him an RPM though, and his calculation of 10,000 is still correct... granted that's 3rd grade math

200 uniques with only $1/day? That's not too good. I would honestly move to another niche.

200 uniques, I would expect to make $8-12 a day.

I guess my point was, that dollar could be a single click or 100 clicks. Both the Adsense CTR/CPC vary every second of the day & can have drastic differences even on same niche sites (different domains).

It's impossible to know the answer to OPs question, that's something he'll have to find out by doing things on his own (build site/drive traffic).

That's half of the CPC answer. Another thing to consider is your site's trust rank. Google does not serve the good ads to every site on the topic.

To simplify this, if the keyword's bidding looks like this...
      1. $15
      2. $12
      3. $2
      4. $1
      5. $1

...and your site doesn't carry any weight online, expect the ads that people bid $1 for to appear on your site.

Getting over the hump in the Adsense game is every much about developing high quality sites as it is picking the right niche. Just be prepared to make it long term development. None of this build it and forget it stuff. You don't build these sites in one weekend and then move on to the next one.

There are other factors involved than just visitors.
Your ad size and positions play a big role.

No-One can tell you that how much you can earn by how many visitor and click because there are different prices per click google pay you and from which country you are getting more traffic. like in Asian countries for 50 click you will get less amount and if you get 50 click from USA and UK then you will get more amount.

So many factors decide the amount of visitors required to make $50.00 a day. One, it could be the niche. Certain niches will earn less in adsense. It also depends on the keywords you're targeting. Some keywords have more value than others.

Like, two of my sites are currently averaging about $1.00 per 100 visitors. And another site which I began running before I completed cpc research is only earning $0.50 per 100 visitors.

Adsense really does require a lot of visitors to earn a good amount of money. It might not be a bad idea to mix in some affiliate marketing into the sites too.

      LMFAO!!

      It doesn't take that much.

But like everyone else says it does vary according to your niche, keywords being targeted, quality of your traffic etc.

I'm in niches where, for example, one of them gets on average about $0.67 cents a click, my CTR is over 5%, and I get average 2350 page views a day.

      So it all really depends.

Earnings per day or per month are dependent on more factors than just the amount of visitors.

Visitors origin, CPC, ad positioning and content (CTR) are the most important factors that contribute to the amount of clicks and earnings per click.

do the math - 200 per day and you get $1. You would need 10,000 for $50. Remember you earn more if you get more pageviews (the chances of people exiting your website can be your ad) and your niche which has to be well covered and has high cpc.
