Should I first set a higher CPC in bing adcenter? (my ads are not showing)

I really noob with the adcenter, but I was using adwords and right now got quite decent cpc cost for my main target, about $0.025 - $0.05.

Now I opened bing adcenter to bring some more traffic, made an ad but for two days I got only 7 impressions, which must be a joke. I am 100% sure that no one else is using my one-word keyword.

I lifted my bid to $0.07 but it didn't do any effect. **** you bing adcenter, I won't pay you more. You must be kidding, for the shit-lol sake.

The status says delivery: eligible, status: active. May be it just wasn't set up yet? Or, would you advise to increase CPC to say $0.30 for the first couple of days, and then bring it back to the $0.05?

Please advice, mates.

Yeah you should increase your bid even if it's just for shit-lol's sake.

Bing stats are delayed a fair bit, so if you're not using real-time tracking, make sure you set a low daily budget.

Got it! Well would I expect that my quality score and CPC would improve over-time, as was the case with AdWords? Otherwise I would rather abandon it.

Google quality score you see has little to do with your click through rate, unless they do a manual review of your account which they will do if you spend more than $500 a day. The well quality score represents the quality of the page associated with the URL in your ad.
        1. Make sure your quality score is the highest it can be by implementing on site SEO
        2. Make sure you do not attach any Google analytics to the associated campaign
        3. Start out at the recommended cost per click
        4. Begin decreasing your cost per click over three days
This is how we turned a $40 per click estimate into an actual five cents per click campaign.

Yes, CPC will go down. I think it's influenced by CTR more than anything else.

In general practice you should always begin with the suggested bid price and begin working your way down. First make sure that your quality score is up to par. There's no point in working your way down if you're not at maximum quality.

So basically you say that I need to get some good CTR and Quality Score first, before trying to work it down with bidding cost. Alright, thanks! I'll go ahead then and see what stats do I get. I was quite satisfied with my AdWords so far, and pushed it quite up to par, though it took a lot of tuning before.

It is very important that you have a good quality score before attempting to lower your cost P click.

Your CPC will go down even if your max bid is high.

Bing is worth sticking with, I've found the traffic to be good.

Yes through experience I have been able to generalize a recognition of about 15% of traffic quantity that Google provides. Definitely something to be a part of.

Still can't get it to work.
I have set crazy CPC bids (for my market), got Quality score 7/10, 21% CTR and... 20 expressions? What the ... ?
Meanwhile its nowhere seen when I set my target market as Philippines. Now it doesn't even show in preview. What's wrong?

You need at least a nine in quality score 7 is not very good. this is why I was emphasizing the importance of your quality score which is calculated by on-page seo
