Wordpress Ping List - Good or bad?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if you could tell me what your personal opinion on the Pros and Cons of having a ping list in Wordpress, and does the size of the ping list matter?

    Dear TuNguyen,

    If you have daily nice original posts going live then it doesnt matter if you ping in quantity.

    Again, wordpress itself have included the feature of pinging, so it wont be harmful.

    Simple rule, if you have a new content, then you must ping it through wordpress to inform about the same.
