Hi guys, I just want to share and know your feedback about this. I have linked my adsense account to my youtube account for about a week now and currently my stats are below:

ESTIMATED MONETIZED PLAYBACKS: 881
TOTAL ESTIMATED EARNINGS: $1.18

This seems a bit low don't you think?

I know there are a lot of Warriors making a good income out of Youtube+Adsense. Maybe you could share some of your experiences that newbies like me could learn from.

Please let me know your feedbacks.

TIA

    Your CPM is reallllllly low.

You should get your channel partnered if you are getting those kinda views.

The payout is MUCH higher in some cases.

    Fullscreen

    RPM

    Yeousch

    Machinima

are all youtube partner networks to consider in this. Best of luck. Cuz I got maybe 3,000 views and made $15

You all have the wrong perspective on YouTube.

Perhaps because you arent successful with it. I am. I make about $300/mo via it.

        I know my business here.

YouTube is great if you do the hard work to dominate it and you provide great content.

Here is a link to some videos I made that should explain a lot of things about youtube and all that jazz. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...3Fvl-C8ExyGaQo

Let me know what you think.

For YouTube ad sense program to work you gotta have lots and lots of videos receiving of traffic monthly. Anyway, I prefer to use ad sense for website thou the video seems easy to get along for most people.

Youtube pay isn't great as most people never click ads on it. The ads have been in the same place for years and it causes extreme ad blindness. Not to mention many people have ad blockers to avoid being forced to watch lengthy ads before their video.

As stated before you need lots of videos and/or lots of views to make decent money off it. The good thing about youtube videos is that you can just set it and forget it most of the time. I have videos that I posted last year that are increasing in views and I haven't done anything. If I am lucky one may go viral some day and bring me some easy cash.

I see youtube more as a long term money maker. Make a video that takes an hour or so to create then get a few pennies every few days for years to come. In the long term it's a nice amount of money for the time spent creating it.

It doesn't matter If they click any Ads or not as long as the video has pre-roll Ads where the traffic is forced to watch the Ad. Trust me, 5-20% CTR is normal for YT.

The key with YT is traffic volume + pre-roll Ads, that's where the money is at for YT/Adsense.

I see. Which kind of ads do you think would be the best? Should I stick only with True Views or should I check all the advertisement options in the monetization tab?

Thanks for this information. I hope you can share more of what a newbie needs to learn to have a good income using Youtube+adsense.

You're right. What I love about this method is you can set it then forget it and scale up.

I totally agree with you. I find it easier to create a video and optimize it than to make a website and do SEO. It seems SEO is getting harder and harder.
