If you look at building backlinks as a waste of time you'll never succeed in SEO.

That attitude is why spammy programs like Magic Submitter and Senuke seem so appealing to you. Push a button and rank.

If you want to rank a website, create a website that deserves to rank. Then do the nasty, dirty, awful, time-consuming work known as link building.

Only then will you rank over the long-term.

Trust the other people in this thread: don't waste your money and time with that crap.

Have you used any one of them before? CRAP? No, not all. Try once man, you will come to know.

Google doesn't like SEO at all. So, it doesn't matters whether you build links manually or using software. So, based on this you should AVOID link building completely. But it's wired that you are promoting your Link building guide through signature.

@RogerMayer,

I have both tools and MS is really good piece of software. You can use it for money site directly but try to post good content. Avoid spamming and building lot of links too fast. You can use this for building links to Tier-1 as well. The best approach is to do Tier-1 manually with unique content and then build links to each of them. For example -

Lets say you primary keyword for money site is - how to lose weight

Now you can create few web2.0 with keywords like - how to lose 20 pounds, exercises to lose weight, how much should i weigh, tips on how to lose weight, how to lose weight quickly, diet plan etc. Then, try to build links to each of them. It's better if you use very low competitive keywords in each of the Web2.0. It has 2 plus points - 1. They will rank very well with very less number of links 2. All those Tier-1 can be used as a presale copy and try to bring traffic from each of them to your money site.

Note - I have many Web2.0 (T-1) ranking on first page and I did same whatever is mentioned above. In fact, many of them are above PR1 and few are up to PR3. I treat each of them as a site.

About GSR: I like this software too and use it on Tier-2. Very powerful software if you know what you are doing.

Note: Building quality links takes time and you have to invest either time of money. If you can't do yourself, outsource it. Even though software are good, I don't recommend to use them as push-button solution. Try to come up with better marketing plan, build good sites and try to build brand value. Short term approach can bring result that doesn't last long.

Basically we're saying the same thing.

Build a good sites with a strong brand and you'll rank over the long-term.

I'm not sure how link building software plays a role in that.

Actually, there's no need to debate. The SERPs don't lie.

Just take the time to analyze the link profiles of sites ranking over the long term for tough keywords using Ahrefs and Majestic.

I think you'll find that few, if any, build web 2.0 tiers, pyramids, octagons, wheels or dodecahedrons. They've used that time posting strong content and marketing the hell out of it.

Because everyone wants a magic button that promises them rankings and riches with little to no effort. Look at the WSO section, there are tons of WSO's that promise you guaranteed rankings (for only $7!) blah blah blah.

They sell well but they don't work, people are buying a lie (in most cases).

GSA isn't bad though, I think most people use it wrong and end up getting their sites hurt because of that, but if used smart, it can be pretty good.

Effort, hard-work and solid research!
Look at competitors, make your website on-page SEO strong.

Find relevant websites and try to get links from the website.

Read the forums here! If you scroll through the forums, you WILL find the answer to any question you have.

oh and the op's pic is a guy named roger fender or something, just tinyeye the picture.

i know it's contradictory for me to say, about using avatars and pseudonames, but look at my account age, it's from 2005, we didn't use real names back then, it wasn't "trendy", now it is... and if i made an account now, i guess i'd use my real name... but i wouldn't grab some dudes picture, who happens to pose for a watch commercial.

I use Magic Submitter and I dominate SERPs for my targeted keywords. It's not a "spammy product" - it's a tool that saves me time through automation.

How do I use it successfully as a tool?

1. I create really good content.
2. I spin that content at the word, sentence, and paragraph levels.
3. I diversify my anchor text and place it in different parts of my content.
4. I create 14 day campaigns in Magic Submitter that create accounts for me, solve CAPTCHAs, and submit content to PR 4 sites and above only.
5. The campaign over 14 days keeps the link building natural.
6. Finally, I write more content, spin it, and create Tier 2 backlinks.

MS works to navigate pages from my computer and submit content just as if I was there typing or mouse clicking. I setup the campaign and run it. Google or the site that I am submitting to cant tell the difference between a human or MS. I also use HMA.

So for all the comments that MS doesn't work, you obviously haven't used it or don't understand how to use it correctly.

you need to build authority profile links to your tier 2 (if those are web 2.0) in order to get their PR to +1... any other type of links won't build up authority because they may pass linkjuice but they don't pass any authority. Atleast thats what i've been reading lately..

If you check this this thread "seo/ppc" regularly you will see where fellow warriors talk about how they use one, two or the combinition of these software to rank high on the search engine. infact most people while giving a reply to a post recommends these software's. if senuke, GSA or Magic submitter works say it does, if it doesnt work say its doesnt. You shouldnt base your reply to a question because you have a personal beaf with ctrtheme and the software his promoting.

If this was a thread asking about magic submitter or gsa the people above will give a positive review of how the product helped them rank high on search engine. So if you say these tools doesnt work is it that people talking good about it here are lying or what? I start wondering how come liars "with alll due respect" have overtaken WF Now, It doesnt use to be like this.....I think i need to start giving more of my time to Black hat world site.. #My Mind

The lesson is to try things yourself.

There's contradiction in any forum because people have different ideas of what "works". For me, ranking a tiny MFA site for a few weeks using senuke isn't success. For others, it may be.

Coming here and asking nonsense questions (like the OPs), isn't going to get you the answers you want.

Like anything in business you have to test, test and test again.

I'm a newbie with regards to software. Just got magic submitter and it will take a lot of time to setup. My desire is that it will spin my original content and post it on my tier 1 sites like wordpress.com, tumblr, blogger.com, etc... Then I plan to build links to those sites with bookmarking, blog comments, etc...

I'd pay someone to set it up for me to be honest. Is there a way to pay someone to setup magic submitter for you?

People get too hung up worrying about nonsense on this forum and keep saying certain software is crap etc when they haven't even used it. The fact is all these software do is automate making backlinks. You can even custom make automated submitting to any site you choose.

Bob submits a backlink on articlewank.com by hand and it take him 5mins
Jane submits a backlink on articlewank.com using an automated service and it takes her 30 seconds.

Bob and Janes backlinks are both on the same site and have the same content so how the **** is Google going to suddenly be like "AMGAWD JANE'S BACKLINK IS AUTOMATED!". They have no way of telling an automated link... use your damned brains. The problem with some of these software is: the types of places the links get posted to which are spammy and crap if you post your content sensibly to good places using this software then the results are fine. If you blast comment spam into blogs containing thousands of other spam comments then of course you wont benefit fool. I have used automated software before and had good results. If you use the software sensibly and take the time to use it in a smart way then it can be a good tool. If you're bad at SEO and don't understand how things work then the software isn't going to give you better rankings. It's a tool to speed things up not some magic wand that ranks you for doing nothing. You may have to spend hours and hours setting it up sometimes to make it quality and worthwhile but it is still faster than doing it manually.

The mentality of sheep on this forum is: "Oh jee golly 'popular ****tard x' said this so it must be true. Lets go copy and paste his total moronic drivel into every thread and clog up the warrior forum with poop like an overflowing toilet."

After doing my own experiments it is quite clear to see from threads like this that some people don't know much and just act like damned sheep saying the same things over and over even if they're wrong. I guarantee the majority of people in this tread saying that these software don't work haven't even tried them and if they have tried them they probably used them like some sort of retarded monkey rolling its face over the keyboard hoping for free bananas to pop out the CD drive.

I love it when people discourage others from using automated SEO tools on forums. There are so many self righteous soldiers out there who think that what they're doing isn't spam.

The more people preach to confused newbies that SEO softwares are bad, the happier I am knowing I have one less person who is going to compete on my level.

The truth is SEO softwares are bad, for some people.... because they don't know how to use them properly and they spatter a big footprint over the internet saying "Hey Mr. Cutts please devalue my ranking!"

It's like a scalpel in the hands of a surgeon. You could kill someone in a single flick of the wrist, or you could save their life just depends if you've got a steady hand or not.

Yeah...'SEO software' is just like that. You have to be a real surgeon to press the button and 'build links.'

Automated link building is clearly against Google's TOS. Whether you like it or not telling people to not use automated link building is sound advice. I guess you don't remember the last time the Penguin ran.

Content is king. Do good market research and find what people are really looking for in your niche model the best and create good content that they dont have. You can use these tools but dont do any Blasting you will get banned. Do 2to5 links on varying days.

I think a lot of people "newbies" like myself, seem to think they can just use this software to "blast" the life out of their links and expect to see results, when in reality they need to learn the basics, of how it is all done naturally and then progress onto using software "sensibly" if they require it, having multiple sites that need SEO doing just need an effective time saver etc. I'd rather not just be shown how to do something and not understand how it works, maybe thats just me!

I agree however good the tools are, it's how you use them that makes a difference Senuke can be great for SEO, but how you use the software is what really counts, simply "blasting" links is not going to fool google, using tools intelligently will help create shortcuts though.
