Change Hosting - SEO Affect??

Hi Warriors,

I want to change the hosting server from S-----B------- to GoDaddy.

Will this affect the SEO done for that website.

Or is there any best way to avoid this affect.

My Site is A Static HTML.

    First, why are you looking to change? Are you having problems with your current host? If so, what problems are you having?

    Second, what are your requirements & budget?

      Server often goes down in Current Host. Budget is not a problem. Godaddy is good so going for that.

      Or is there any best Hosting Provider??

    It shouldn't effect the SEO, unless

    the new hosting is a lot slower,
    the new hosting is based in a different country OR
    you have significant downtime in making the switch

      The other two are true, but this one isn't.
      This is controlled via Google Webmaster Tools. That's where to set the target country.

      There is no such thing as a "C class" IP address, hosting, etc.

      Use a good host -- not Godaddy, not 1&1, not an EIG brand (iPage, Bluehost, Hostgator, etc.)
      Try Stablehost. Or Site5 or Arvixe for unlimited.
      There are much better hosts out there.
      Avoid the fake "top 10" lists that only show the highest paying commissions.

    It generally has no effect, unless the new host is total crap. But why on earth would you move to GoDaddy?

      I heard GoDaddy Hosting is Good.

        IMO ipage is really good, their file uploading is a lot quicker than others too.

        Changing you host should not effect SEO, appart from downtime and a slower loading time for your website. SEO is onpage and off page and doesnt take into account your host.

        If there is anything like service or support issue then it is okay to switch to another provider. It will not affect on your website in any ways. Just make sure that your websites download speed is correct. If there will be any such issue, you may lose your rankings because google considers the website speed as well.

    I don't see anything wrong with godaddy. They may not be the absolute best, but they're not bad either. Sometimes I think hosts that are well known are targets for criticism.

    Nope, it won't have any impact - unless your new hosting provider has a slower server speed or a terrible downtime record which only then will affect your Google rankings.

    Other than that, it will be fine. I've switched web hosts quite a few times and my rankings didn't move at all.

    No it's not.
    Google takes speed into account for SEO. It's been that way for years.

    It's one reason why throttled hosts do so poorly. (EIG, Godaddy, etc)
