If I have a blog and I want some people to do guest post on my blog (of course they will leave a link that will be pointing to their site) how does it helps my blog? Is it just the original content that I will get from the guest posters? Also can I delete the links after a month or so?

Would appreciate some advice..

Regards,
Michael

    Hi Michael,

Here are some of the benefits of allowing guest blogs:

-Fresh and new content for your blog (Ofcourse the content will be checked for duplicacy).
    -Builds online credibility.
    -Targeted traffic.
    -Increases your written portfolio.
    -Add exposure to your blog.
    -Builds relationship with other bloggers.

Why do you want to remove the links?

If you remove links after a month, no one would care to post on your site. It would become a lonely dessert after few months. Also the users links you will remove, will start bad mouthing about your site... Yo don't wanna happen that to your site, do you?

    Hi Michael,
Most of the bloggers today guest post for back links and if you would delete it after a month than you are not giving them the benefit they deserve after guest posting and the best of things of guest posting is you can get free back links because the person who would guest post on your blog must share it on Social Media and also you would get content towards which many people would come from Google.

Accept guest posts if your blog has good stats. Guest posters look for high PR blogs and they consider the Alexa Rank also. If your blog has good stats, then you can get quality content. I started accepting guest posts when my blog was at PR2. Most of the times, I got low quality content. Now my blog is at PR4 and the Alexa Rank is 59K, so "QUALITY WRITERS" are attracted towards it and I can find well written articles now. (I know I am not good in English so I accept quality guest posts frequently )

And why you are going to remove the links? It will be an unethical attempt. Yes analyze the outbound links before publishing the content, if the target sources are not crap sites, then publish the post and let the link there forever. Otherwise reject the post...

Hello Guys thank you for all of your advice. It was a greedy question actually But I now know the benefit of allowing guest posting to my blog so there's no reason for me to remove the links that they have added on their article.

Thank you so much for your advice.

Also my blog for now is about 2 months old with no back links gonna build some when I have time. I only bought article from a friend of mine. Actually it is a well researched keyword with about 8k US monthly searches and $10 CPC. I havent added adsense into it as I wanted to have adsense when it ranks well on google. For now its main keyword is ranking #57 on google.com and so as the other 2 variation.

The reason why I wanted to accept guest post is to have some content on my site. But since new site wont get quality articles then I think I need to do more work on it so that It will be worthed.

But any way thanks for the great advice guys..Really helpful to me

    Michael

If you own a log then getting a guest writer can help you in a variety of ways. First, it can be stressful and frustrating to make sure that you have a post ready at all times. Having a guest blogger can give you a bit of a break. This is great for any website owner – sometimes you just need a vacation, even from something you love. In addition, when you have a guest blogger,
you can offer a different perspective to your readers. An expert in the field can lend weight to your point of view on a specific subject. This makes you seem more relevant, and entices new readers to your blog.

One of the reasons guest blogging works so well is the relationship building aspect of it. If you ask someone to guest blog, they are getting something out of it as well as you. It also works extremely well in promoting through social media because there is a certain assumed trust that if you post a guest blog it will be good, and if you promote it as a guest blog it will attract more people. Obviously this is not always the case, but if your site didn't have the authority in the first place then you are not attracting high quality guest bloggers.

You can get unique exclusive content for your blog for free of cost and if your blog is good in terms of PR and other characteristics, you can even manage your blog like an auto blog. But its not recommended completely run a blog with guest posts.

You should check everything and moderate guest posts if needed, coz most of the people send crappy or targeted contents only to secure links from your site. So first and foremost thing is you should put strong guidelines on your write for us page.

Overall accepting guest post is beneficial for every blog, but we should pick best offers that useful to readers.

You cannot delete their links after a month. Because you are bound under a contract. You must appreciate their works. If you want to remove their links, you need to delete their guest posts on your blog.

There're no benefits for removing outbound links after a month. Good sites naturally have outbound links.

Don't remove their links... ever! If you accept their work, then the link is married to the article for life. It's pretty simple, really.

If you are writing a post on someone else's blog, then you are a guest blogger. A blog owner may allow guest bloggers to post on his website for a few reasons. One may be that he is too busy to post regularly himself. Or he invites guest bloggers to add variety to his blog. Sometimes he may be able to get an established blogger to be a guest blogger to get more traffic.

It will become cheating. There will be no problem for the blog if you keep those blog posts and links on them. Only you have to make sure that those articles are unique.
To attract guest posters, you will have to do a lot of hard work. Because most of the guest posters won't be interested to post in a new blog with no ranking.
