Should I use an anchor text internal linking plugin?

I'm in the process of building a very large site with over 200 pages to start with. I've heard of a plugin that will allow you to make every mention of a keyword link to a certain page. For example if I have a page dedicated to "dog training" then every time that phrase is mentioned anywhere on my site it will automatically link it to my dog training page with anchor text. Is this a good idea to do as far as SEO and internal site structure?

It may cause some problem too. You better add the links manually . If you obverse blogs run by top SEO experts they hardly make exact match keyword a link .

I see your point, but I also notice that on the major brands such as wiki they have like 100+ links on each page of their site?

There are some plugins that will link out to 'related posts' such as the YARPP plugin by Yoast. (For WordPress). I've had pretty good success with that one.

Does that link to external sources? I was thinking more along the lines of a plugin that would help with internal link structure.

Once per page is fine, but 10's of internal links on a single page pointing to another internal page URL isn't going to do anything besides look spammy.

I see now I guess many of the same anchor text on the same page would be spammy. Is there a plugin that makes putting one on each page easier? Or should it just be done manually? Seems like a lot of work on 200 page site.

The related posts plugin only helps with internal links. Your blog posts about 'red widgets' should link directly to your other blog posts about 'red widgets'.

Links to other sites should be entered by hand.

Does the plugin you're referring to make several instances on the same page? For example if the phrase "dog training" appears multiple times on the same page would it link all of them? Or is there an option to just have it link the first instance or something?
