How to Check Number of Backlinks For Multiple Websites?

I want to import a list of URLs and all I care is how many backlinks there are to each URL.

Is there any free/cheap tool that's able to do this relatively good?

    I think, If you use mozilla Firefox please install an add-ons (webrank toolbar) for checking backlink.

    I have this Webrank toolbar. It shows the backlinks of any website. I'm not sure if it shows all the backlinks.

    for me the best is to use Google webmaster tool...... reason is simple... we must know what links are Google is considering for your website.
