Hi,

Please guide me how much it can effect on serp/Google position if I change server from one hosting to another? I am using VPS and because of few problems on hosting, I want to change vps, it will also change ip address.

Please guide.

    It won't have an impact on SERPs.

    What does have an impact is downtime, so try not to have any discontinued service. I've seen this first hand. That's how I lost 5000 visitors a day because I have been away from the internet for a mini holiday when the hosting company decided to cut my site because of server load..

    Your server just make your site load faster/slower. Uptime LOW/HIGH.

    SPEED and UPTIME : its just a fraction of ranking factor for SERP NOT A MAJOR. Major factor's are quality of your links + Quality of your site.
