Hello

I bought a PR3 (all good, real PR) but the last time it was indexed by Google was 21st March

Is it normal for it to take over 1 1/2 weeks to be indexed again?

I know its not the most exciting question but I thought it would have been by now

Many Thanks

Rob

PageRank has no bearing on the frequency of indexing a site. Have you performed the very basic SEO that will invite web crawlers to your site?

You really believe that? PR is one of the key determining factors in why a page is indexed - and at what frequency. PR 3 pages have a much lower frequency than a PR9 page, for example.

I have a simple method which helps to get indexed quickly and that's by publishing the content, then updating my Facebook, Twitter, Google Fan pages as soon as its been published. Submit the post to Google using webmasters and ping the post.

I always like to promote each and every post I create by writing a guest post to publish on a high PR domain, related to my blog. I then make a slideshow with a step by step formula and publish on slideshare.

Make a YouTube, Vimeo video and link it back to your blog post.

If you do all this per post, you will see it indexed quickly and better rankings too. Very simple to implement and doesn't take too long either

        Hope this can help

      Thanks Guys

Yup all sorted onpage wise, not a problem there

I always though Page Rank meant the higher it is the more often it gets crawled, fair enough I was mistaken then..

Thanks for the tips also, appreciate it
