Hello fellow members,
I am having a PR2 Tech blog with DA 30.
I am getting some guest posts daily on my email.
i want to ask that if i publish these guest posts, will it harm to my page rank or domain authority in any sense?
Another question is that, now days i am feeling lazy and not building links from niche blogs, two days ago i noticed that i lost many do follow back links..Will it degrade the pagerank of my site..?

Please answer this question according to your experience..Thanks in advance..

It depends. A lot of these 'guest posts' are just rehashed posts that have already been submitted to 100's of other blogs. So they'll add nothing to your site in terms of trying to create an authority site in your niche. Also, your blog software should be configured to apply rel=nofollow to all outbound links. That way you're not having your own page rank leeched away every time an outbound link is posted.

On your last question - links raise PR if they're 'do follow' and if they're coming from a reputable source. So yes, your own PR will be reduced if links to your site are being removed or de-indexed.

      Ugh.

Google is a search engine, it's not an all-seeing entity - it's mechanical. No single link building mechanism is ever going to 'die off'; directory submissions can even still be useful if you're will to spend money on decent directories which will inject authority into your site i.e. business.com, botw.org.uk etc.

Guest posting is an easy way to acquire decent links but it depends on the sites you post on - find decent quality link partners and if you plan on doing this a lot, monitor your anchor text i.e. build brand anchor text, and deep link into your site i.e. don't link to the same page again and again.

Other than that, go nuts - just apply common sense in the process i.e. monitor how the links you build impact on the rankings you achieve.
