Do Related Posts hurt rankings ?

I have been testing a few different things on my site and just wanted to ask if this is bad for rankings for those that have done extensive testing.

I have a category called lets say shoes and it has 10 posts .

Under all of the articles below the content I have related articles
with lets say Nike Shoes Adidas Shoes and another 8 posts from the same category would this hurt the rankings or pass relevancy ?

    ..and parting that your anchor text is the same every single day, it'll hurt. Assuming you're using for sake of example, 20% or much less related anchor text or your keyword anchor text, my testing says you'll be alright. Small baby steps, just don't over do it. Parting from what I understood from your reply of course.

      Sorry I rushed to write this post. I have categories that are rather big but I use diverse anchors on all the posts so if one has nike shoes adidas shoes so on the other one will have Sneakers by nike Nike sneakers etc

    I think they are OK. It will not hurt your ranking.

    I think it will not hurt your rankings, but it's better to not use sometimes shoes, adidas ect on your anchors.

    According to me they don't hurt your rankings. Though we never know gopogle may change the algorithms. Best thing yo do is to always stay up to date
