Do you have a link to video to check out? If you want to check the load times you use Google Page Speed Test to figure load times.

If you are just simply embedding the video using an iframe, it won't have any impacts.

    Here's some things I've learned:

    1. Page load speed shouldn't be affected
    2. Crawling should be OK.
    3. If the video is good and engaging, the average bounce rate for the will reduce.
    4. Depending on the Youtube account settings, there may be video ads show on the page. Worse case an ad for one of your client's competitors.

It won't create any problem in relation to page load or SEO point of view. It must be relevant and nothing else. Will help in decreasing bounce rate of the page as well.

Definitely it will not affect your website page loading speed. But it depends on your viewers internet speed. We all have different internet connections and speeds, sometimes video loading for others is much slower because of poor internet connection.

If that is the case, the problem is on their end. So worry not!

Just not one of those wretched autoplay ones. That's just awful. Don't force people to watch it and you should be fine.

If website is hosted at separate server and you are going to embed video from youtube, it wouldn't make website slow...

If that video is important and making sense to attract customers, use it.

A YT video on your website is a massive plus. It doesn't effect your page loads because you're not hosting it. The only factor that may impact the experience is the Internet connection speeds of your visitors.
