Hey Everyone,

2 months ago I created a niche site and was wondering if you guys could review it. I haven't been doing much back-linking but will be moving onto that soon and I am going to put up 9 more articles soon. I have only received around 300 views to my site but once I reach the first page of google that should all change.

My site is: Meditation Techniques for Beginners: How to Meditate Properly

And criticisms are welcome as long as you explain what you mean. Thanks Guys

If you are looking at the site for a hobby, that's fine, if you are looking to monetize it you need to register a domain and get hosting.

I am looking to monetize the site but is getting a domain and hosting really necessary in order to rank in the top 10?

NO. You don't have to buy your own domain to rank even in top 3.. I have some sites (on free domains) that rank pretty high in SE. But if you have your own domain, this will tell your visitors ("Yes, he is serious in his business!")

Thanks for clearing that up, this is to monetize but it is also a sort of 'tester' as this is my first blog. I want to get used to SEO and Content Marketing before I start spending money on Domains and hosting and other related expenses.

So, how does my blog look from an SEO point of view so far?

no, but its not yours...meaning it can be changed or taken down at anytime the blog host chooses...you have no control over it long term, so why put effort into something with the chance if could be taken away in the future?
